Abstract Aims Burns are usually associated with significant morbidity and mortality due to dysfunction disfigurement. Non-fatal burns contribute via burn wound infection, systemic sepsis, multiple organ failure, pneumonia etc. leading prolonged hospitalization. The objective of this study is present a systematic review the role enzymatic debridement in healing outcomes compared standard care (debridement skin grafting) adult patients burns. Methods A randomized controlled case-control studies reporting comparing Nexobrid care, published on Embase, Medline, PubMed, Google Scholar Cochrane databases period from 1946 until August 2021 was performed. Relevant were extracted analysed help Review Manager. Results database search identified thirteen articles that met inclusion criteria. combined number 441 included. application average time one day. mean total body treated surface 6.5%.
